A big week!

We had a busy week as a family and things are only going to get busier.

On Thursday night, we had Matt and Janelle over for dinner and a visit. We took them through the new house and we all got quite a show from Jace. It seems that daddy might have shaken Jace up a bit and Jace let loose.... (this is a re-enactment, you can see leftovers on Jace's mouth)

On Saturday, we got up at 4:30am and carpooled with Todd and Matt up to Friday Harbor in San Juan Islands. This meant that Jace got to ride on his first ferry ever, how exciting!

The reason for our journey was to attend Jace's Aunt Amy and Uncle John's engagement party. We had a lot of fun and got to visit with a lot of neat people. The Weaver parents were up from Denver and like everybody who meets them, Jace loved them!

Jace also loves Grandma Kris!

Todd Moore just returned back from a month long trip to Asia and London also got in on the baby holding action.

And of course, Aunt Amy, the VIP of the weekend, wanted her fair share as well!

We were also introduced to a Swedish game called Kubb which can quickly be described as a combination of bowling, horseshoes and chess. There were many games from the day and many winners, but here is a great shot of Kirk, Stephanie and Todd, who won a round very convincingly.

There was a lot of family and many people from the wedding party. The setting was beautiful, located at Amy's father's house. Great times had by all!

This week, the family is in Portland, Jace's first trip to a different state. Stephanie has a conference, so we all have joined in the fun. Jace posed for a picture on the king sized bed with one of the largest bed bugs we have ever seen.

Jesse and Jace went for a walk on an 80+ degree day on Monday. After the long walk, Jace was exhausted....
