Jace Turns 2!

We haven't had a chance to complete our Thanksgiving update but that is coming soon. In the mean time, our little boy turned 2 yesterday. Mom and Dad went to daycare to enjoy a celebration with Jace's teachers and classmates. It was quite an experience. Let's just say there was cake involved and a very happy, sugared up little guy. Happy birthday babe!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Over the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend, we enjoyed spending a lot of time with our families. On Thanksgiving, we slept in (until 7) and went for a walk with our friends Todd and Copper around Green Lake. After Jace's nap, we headed over to Grandma Kris' and Grandpa John's for the first Thanksgiving meal. After our meal and great conversations, we headed over to Grandma Jan's home. There we met up with Grandma, Uncle Justin, Todd and Copper and enjoyed another fantastic meal. Two Thanksgiving dinners in one day?!? Yes, it was incredible.

Friday morning we headed Eastward towards Grandma Marcia and Grandpa Ron's house. It was a great weekend filled with another amazing turkey dinner, horses and the new kitten!

Grandma Marcia's immediate family had a picture session on Saturday.

Here are some pictures of the big slide that happened which took the highway clean out.

The Perfect Game

This family has not seen such a stellar barnyard* performance since New Year's Eve 2003.
Welcome back to the gold medal platform, Steph!

* for those of you who read our post and don't know what barnyard is, it is a card game that we love to play. Highly competitive, there is a lot of trash talking and rarely do we see a score like this.

Yo Ho Ho

For Halloween, our little boy dressed up as a pirate. He stole many hearts and plundered numerous candy bags.

On the Thursday before Halloween, we went to Nintendo for the company Halloween party. There were a lot of great costumes there and Mario was there for a photo op! That being said, Jace wasn't thrilled with the life sized Mario and didn't take full advantage of the opportunity. The rest of the night, however, all he could say was "I saw Mario!" So cute. Here are some great pictures of our Nintendo adventure.

On Halloween, we dressed our little pirate up and took him to Northgate Mall for a trick-or-treating romp around the stores. Before we took off, the neighbors came to admire the pirate (and to show off their costumes as well!).

Our 100th Post!

Wow! 100 posts ago we created this blog so that we could share with our friends and family the exciting times that were happening in the Paulson Family. At that time it was the newest addition to our family, Jace, and our new house. Now the excitement mostly centers around the nearly 2 year old who has captured our heart. Here are some recent pictures of our little boy.
