This boy's hair is WILD!

It is a proven fact that Jace's hair is out of this world awesome. Here are some great examples of it!

Here is Jace meeting another Great Grandma, this is his third that he has met in his 8 weeks with us. Look at that hair on Jace!

Mom is holding Jace in front of our construction site.

Dad holding him in front of the construction site.

These are a perfect example of his natural hair. Isn't it awesome!

You might ask where he gets his styling ideas.... Well, these gals we ran into on our walk the other day might shed some light on the subject.

Here are some other pictures with hats on that are super cute!

Jace meets cousin Karly at her volleyball tournament. Jace could not stop laughing and smiling in her arms. Karly, let us know when you are ready to babysit! :)

Stephanie met up with her best friend, Dana, from Tri-Cities when she was over with her family. Dana's beautiful daughters are Allie and Kaylie.

And here is 4 generations of my family. Jace with me, his grandmother and his great grandmother. Who is number 1??? Why its Jace of course, just ask him.

We received this adorable teddy bear outfit and he likes to wear it on long walks out in the cold.

An update on the house. Tomorrow they start backfilling in around the foundation and then we hope to have a slab poured soon. Once this is done, we are hoping that they will start framing and we can update the blog with some cool new pictures of the house.
Until then, we all hope you have a great hair day!

What does Mommy and Jace do while Daddy is out?

They talk about college. We know it's Jace's choice, but there is no denying that Jace looks adorable in crimson. Thanks Uncle Justin and the Watt Family for starting Jace off in the right direction...towards Pullman!

We have foundation walls!

We have foundation walls and we are so excited. It is really coming a long. The next step will be to have the slab and front stair retaining wall poured!

And of course, we have to get a couple of updated photos of the man!

House update and more pics!

It has been a little while since we have updated you on the house, so I figured I would start with that tonight. I also figured that if I put pictures of Jace first, the majority of you would see his pictures and then quickly lose interest and look at the pictures of our house. :)

We have progress happening on the house! Over the past few weeks the crew has been framing the foundation walls and on Wednesday, the 16th, the concrete is being poured. I am really excited to see the foundation walls, as I feel that it will help show us that the house project is moving a long. It has seemed like it has been going slow, so this will a huge step.

In these 2 pictures, you will see the footprint as well as how high the wall is. The house in the second picture is our neighbors house and it is at the same height as our blue house was.

In the next picture you will see a picture looking at the front of the house. The two openings are where our garage doors will go. The second picture is from the inside of the house looking through our garage doors. Ok, I am really getting excited.

You have waited long enough, here are some new pictures of Jace!

We had a doctors appointment last week and he has been gaining weight at a good clip and is now above the 10 pound mark. Though, surprisingly enough, his head is in the 35th percentile. For those of you who know me, this might come as a shock. I guess he got the genes for his head size from his mother! :)

Here he is with our good friend Sherry.

My Aunt Laura, Uncle Bill and cousins Derek and Ellie came to visit and Jace was on his best behavior for them! (and for Grandpa John and Grandma Kris)

Jace wasn't liking having his pictures taken this day, but we were able to catch him between cries in his super cute Little Fox outfit.

Yay Seahawks!

Jace is a big Seahawk fan. He sported his best Seahawk gear today and they won their first playoff game.

More great pics!

Here are a few other good pictures of Jace!

Jace's first bath. He wasn't sure what to think, so he spent half of his time crying, the other half enjoying.

Patrolling the bathtub is Officer Aflac... Thanks for the thermometer, mom!

One of our favorite sleeper outfits is the cutiesaurus outfit. When Jace sleeps, he sleeps real hard! He gets that from his mom...

He doesn't know what to think about the bouncer chair, but he does like looking at the animals.

Todd got Jace a cute and cuddly elephant (he picked it up on his manly shopping day, you should ask Todd about the day....).

If you look close enough, you will see a teddy bear hat in my jacket. These two pictures were taken in Naches on our walk down to the river. It is very beautiful there.

Jace's First Christmas

For Christmas, Stephanie and I took Jace on his first trip across the mountains to Naches, home of Stephanie's parents. We spent 5 days in EWA and boy were Grandma and Grandpa very helpful in allowing us to catch up on some sleep. Well, Jace also caught up on some sleep...

While we were there, Jace tried a few outfits on and met Lily:

On Christmas day, we went to Stephanie's Grandma Kate's house in the morning and opened presents and had breakfast with some of her family. Jace met one of his three Great Grandmothers this morning:

He also met his Aunt Amber, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Rob, Uncle Jeff and cousins Hunter, Tana, Keith and Kevin.

After a great morning and early afternoon we ventured over to Stephanie's other Grandmothers house and visited with more of the extended family. It was definitely a great day of Great Grandmothers for Jace and here he is with Great Grandma Jeanne!

Once the long day was over, dad and son were wiped out!!
