Beautiful Day in Seattle!

What a beautiful day today in Seattle. High 50's, not a cloud in the sky... One would think it was March or April, but no, here it is only February 20th!



We celebrated the gorgeous day by first walking Green Lake, then working in the yard and then taking a family trip from Edmonds on the ferry Puyallup to Kingston. As you can tell from the pictures, we had a fantastic time.

Mt. Rainier was beaming today.






Jace loved playing in the sand before we got on the ferry. He even asked to go swimming in the water...

On the ferry, we spent a lot of time outside on the front deck.

While in Kingston, we spent time in the shops a long the main drag, bought some ice cream and a crepe and enjoyed some time in the park. We played so hard that everybody was ready to enjoy a relaxing ferry ride back, well, everybody except Jace who was excited to meet new friends, play and look out the front windows.

It was a wonderful sunny day in Seattle. We hope that this weather is a sign of things to come for our spring and summer.

It is still exciting times in the Paulson Family

We started this blog over 2 years ago to document the exciting times in the Paulson Family. Since then, we have added a wonderful son to our life, built a house, taken trips, enjoyed life and gone to the zoo (many times)... Well, the excitement continues as we are pleased to announce that Stephanie is pregnant and baby 2 will join us sometime in late July/early August. The due date is currently August 6th. Stephanie and I are also excited to announce that we will not be building a house while she is pregnant! :)

At this last ultrasound we were able to see both legs, both arms and fingers. We don't know the sex of the baby, but should know in the next couple of months (if he or she cooperates!).

Jace and Isabella go to the zoo

A few weekends ago, Jace invited his friend Isabella to the zoo. They had a great time and Jace looks forward to his next visit to the zoo with his friend.

Wow, here it is February already. Time has just flown by. It has been too long since an update on the blog, so here is the first of a few in the next couple of days.

Jace loves his cereal and he loves his horses. It also turns out that his horses love cereal as well..

Grandma Jan got Jace a super fun tunnel for Christmas and he LOVES it.
