House Update!

Where have the Paulson's been??!?? Well, we have been around, but have been super busy with life. So, here is a mini update as we get closer to move in date!

First and most importantly, here are a few pics of Jace. It is so amazing to watch him grow and learn. He is clapping, pointing, talking a lot, dancing to songs and he is standing on his own for short bits of time. He is also walking behind his toys and it seems like it is just a matter of time before he takes his first step. We are in trouble when that happens!
As for the house, we are getting closer to move in date. Our first night looks to be the 26th of September! We are super excited about this. The painters are working on the interior as I type and as soon as they are done with that, they start on the exterior. The granite has been installed and the fixtures should be put in next week. The final coat of finish will be put on the floor Friday, so we are really moving a long. We also have our yard being worked on and hopefully soon we will have a template to begin putting plants, grass and trees! More to come soon.

Giddy Up Little Cowboy

Jace is 9 months old! Our little guy is growing up in front of our eyes, its an absolute treat. Over Labor Day weekend we traveled east to his grandparents house and had a great time (and mom and dad got to catch up on a little sleep).

Here he is, loaded up and ready for his big trip:

We took a break at the top of Chinook Pass to take this beautiful picture. If you have never traveled east over Chinook Pass, I would strongly recommend it.

Once at Grandma and Grandpa's house, we were all well taken care of and had a great time. Jace enjoyed staring down Fritz, the stud horse on the farm.

Grandpa and Grandma spent some quality time with the little guy:

He went for a ride on an ATV for the first time:

He dressed up in his finest Western gear:

And we headed off to visit with the Great Grandmas!

We had a fantastic trip east and are looking forward to our next one!

As for the house, it is really coming a long. The cabinets are in the kitchen and we are waiting on the granite counters. The ledgestone is on the front of the house. The painters are in this week and the interior should be painted soon. We hope to be able to move in soon!
