Trey's First Ocean Trip

In early August, the Paulson family took a trip to Ocean Park, located in southwest Washington on the coast. This was Trey's first trip to the ocean and the beach. A great time was had by all!



Saturday morning we went on a walk to the beach. We loaded Trey up in the backpack and away we went.

Once at the beach, the boys were set loose to explore and enjoy the sand and water.

We were fortunate enough to be accompanied by Aunt Veronica, Uncle Justin and Grandpa John. Jace had found a great piece of kelp that he was running around with.

Trey loved crawling around in the sand. He even experimented with the taste of sand.

The boys enjoyed each other on the beach.

Pelicans joined us on our family outing.

Jace enjoyed some time walking a long the beach, visiting seagulls and walking through the water.

On the way home, Trey zonked out and was sleeping hard.

Saturday night was spent with the extended Paulson family. Jace helped with a new friend and Trey impressed all with his climbing ability.

Trey's First Birthday

We wanted to share more pictures from Trey's first birthday party. It was a fabulous day and Trey had a great time at his party. The cakes were amazing!



Trey was loaded up with presents and he had plenty of good help opening them.

Grandma enjoyed some Trey time.



Trey learned the ins and outs of playing with the water table and the new water toy. Or, should we say the splishes and splashes?
