Summer Adventures!

This morning I was gently reminded that our last post was on May 13th... almost two months ago! Thanks for the prodding, bro.

What have the Paulson's been up to in the past 2 months? Well, we have been working hard on our yard, that's for sure (pics to come soon). We have also been enjoying our boys and watching them grow up in front of our eyes. To give you a better idea of what has consumed so much of our time, these two pictures should help illustrate it.

Yes, Trey is climbing and standing on anything he can. He is a speed crawler and is taking steps without assistance. Two boys that can walk... yikes!

We also went to Aunt Amy's graduation and celebration! Congratulations Aunt Amy!!

There has also been a trip to the zoo.

Jace photographing his dad clowning around while feeding Trey.

And of course, our two favorite boys in the world!

Trey is really learning a lot. Here, mom is teaching him new tricks.

Here is a great picture of our little red head!

Aunt Amy and Uncle John have come over and helped put the boys to bed.

Olives have been put on all 10 fingers and then quickly gobbled up.

The little red head getting caught causing mischief.

On Father's Day, we accompanied Grandpa John, Uncle Justin and Aunt Veronica to the Washington Brewers Festival which had fun things for the adults and fun things for the kids!

We enjoyed a trip to Grandpa Ron's and Grandma Marcia's house. Of course we got to ride horses (or in Trey's case, meet the horses up close), ride the 4 wheeler and eat some great food!

On the way home from Grandma and Grandpa's, we stopped and did a little fishing. Near the end we caught one rainbow trout and Jace was super excited.

We look forward to more summer adventures and sharing them on a more frequent basis!

So It Begins

Just a week or so ago, Trey started climbing and getting his legs underneath him. Now, he has realized that he can climb anything he wants. He is also a speed crawler who has received the "Fast Crawler of the Month" award from school. This means two mobile active boys... Let the fun begin!

Teacher of the Week

Congratulations to Grandma Kris who was selected as Teacher of the Week by Star 101.5!! We are very proud of Grandma Kris and know that she is now being recognized for the rock star that she is! She is one of 24 teachers that win the weekly award and she now has a chance to win a new Volkswagen!! Woohoo, go Grandma!

Some Family Time

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The Paulsons were in traditional green today.

This week, we adopted a new member into the Paulson Family. His name is Dash and he is 5months old. Jace doesn't like the name Dash so he calls him "Grassy". It is a lot of fun to have a kitten in the house. Sidney, Mia and Obie are not quite ready to embrace their new brother but we are sure that they will soon start to love (or tolerate) him. His favorite toy is a pacifier and not only is he super cute but he is also very funny.

Daddy and Jace made banana bread. Jace was so proud of his contributions and the banana bread tasted great!

The Old Cannery in Sumner with Grandma Kris:

Occasionally, we get a preview of how the Paulson brothers will get along as they get older. We think these pictures tell the story:
