This past weekend was a fantastic weekend, full of the Dixons!
On Thursday night, Stephanie's parents, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece and nephew came by to take in a Mariner game. While the game itself was a complete blowout (not for the home team), we had a good time catching up with the family and spending some quality time together.
The whole family stayed in our new house (it was the most overnight guests we have had to date!) and we got up for a big ol' country style breakfast. What a great way to start the weekend.
After breakfast, Steph's parents, her nephew Hunter and the Paulson family hopped in our cars and headed eastward to enjoy more family time! Jace got his traveling glasses on and we were ready.
On our way over, we stopped and did a small hike. Jace is really enjoying his trips in the backpack.
We even taught him the value of stretching (and looking good while doing it!)
We spent time Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday morning playing with the horses. Jace started to warm up to them, wanting to pet them (just a bit) and he even allowed us to let him do a little bareback riding!
We also had some time playing around the yard and enjoying all that the Dixon Ranch has to offer.
On Saturday afternoon and evening, we had a lot on our plate. In the afternoon, we had a Family BBQ with a lot of Steph's extended family enjoying themselves at Steph's aunt and uncle's home. We enjoyed good food, great family time, volleyball, a swimming pool and a trampoline. In the evening, we went to the Jazz festival for Stephanie's High School reunion (no pictures from that event).
Here is a great video of Jace enjoying his time on the trampoline.
On Sunday, Steph's folks and the Paulsons went on another hike. It was a beautiful day and we took a trip up Chinook Pass and hiked around the summit.
